In summary, and in edition to other measures announced by the Government, no business will be forced out of their premises if they miss a payment in the next three months (currently up to 30 June 2020 but there will be an option for the Government to extend this).
This measure applies to all commercial tenants in England, Wales and Northern Ireland who will receive protection from eviction if they cannot pay their rent due to the coronavirus.
For tenants struggling with paying rent due to coronavirus this will assist with immediate cash flow pressure but tenants will still be liable for the rent after this period has expired. For further detail see here.
